To all those who went yesterday...
|
Hope you enjoyed your happy clapping, sing songs and koarake sessions yesterday
Summer midweek game away in europe should of been a call to arms to get stuck in. Instead load of middle aged blokes in replica shirts chatting about their holidays
WHUFC slowly but surely becoming one of the safest games out their for scarfers. Hope we go out next round as the itie`s & turks will have a field day with us -:(

I just think it was the perfect storm for the shirters as loads of tickets were available for the away end locally and such as smallish number travelled from the UK purely for the game because of the flight availability and cost.

Croe - Good to hear, faith is restored. Watching it on TV it appeared as if most of our lot had turned into Charlton fans.

West Ham sold 330 tickets, very few of those were wearing replica shirts.
The thing is the other 700-800 were made up of "local" West Ham fans or families on holiday.
Still if people want to wear the shirt, although it's not for me, I really see no problem with it.

Let's be honest, it did appear as if almost all our lot were wearing a replica, or did I imagine that?

The WHO v Millhouse manuscript should be kept in the national library.
Fortunately I still have a copy of it

Tommy,
"the itie`s & turks will have a field day with us"
Mate, if you're frightened of the Italians, I think it's best you stick to not travelling and just carry on with your away day "match reports".
Make it a regular feature.
